Studying

Today, the Medical College of the Medical Institute of the «BelSU» is an innovative educational complex, the main components of which is personnel stuff who can realize main tasks of new educational standards.

Over the years, the college was prepared more than 40,000 specialists who work in medical institutions not only in our region but also in hospitals in other regions of Russia and abroad. College graduates are: the head of the Department of the General Surgery of the Moscow State Medical University №1 named after I.M. Sechenov academician of the RAS, doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation V.K. Gostishchev, the chief of the Department of Vascular Surgery of the Military Medical Academy named after C.M. Kirov, Candidate of Medical Sciences K.V. Kitachev, the head of the Department of the faculty surgical diseases of the Medical Institute of the «BelSU», , the head of the Department of Family Medicine, head of speciality «General Medicine and Pediatrics» of the Medical Institute of the «BelSU» M.Doctor, professor N.I. In 2021, the Medical College of Medical Institute of the «BelSU» was accrediated for all these specialties.

Within the framework of professional and public accreditation, an examination of the main professional educational programs in the specialties 33.02.01 Pharmacy, 31.02.03 Laboratory diagnostics was conducted.

The material and technical base of the college meets the requirements of the federal state standards of secondary vocational education. To implement the educational process in all professional educational programs, there are classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern equipment and technical training facilities. The Medical College of the Medical Institute of the National Research University «BelSU» has a material and technical base that provides for all types of laboratory work and practical training, disciplinary, interdisciplinary and modular training, as well as educational practice provided for by the curricula for the specialties being implemented.

A system of educational and methodical work has been created in the Medical College of the Medical Institute of the National Research University «BelSU», the center of which is the methodical office. Experienced mentors are the heads of cyclic methodological commissions. Most of them has great pedagogical experience.

The association of the college network with the network of the National Research University «BelSU», the analysis of its experience and the training of teachers on the basis of the National Research University «BelSU» created the prerequisites for the introduction of Internet technologies into the educational process. To date, electronic educational and methodological complexes of disciplines have been created and placed in the Pegasus e-learning system.

The College has a powerful information and telecommunication infrastructure that ensures our educational and economic activities on the modern level. A television network has been created and is developing. The college's cable television combines 11 television outlets. The channel of the Medical College of the National Research University «BelSU» has been created on Youtube. The news releases are made with the help of the video studio resources. They talk about the collegelife, methodological seminars, open educational events and non-educational activities, the teachers' and students' achievements in scientific, educational, research work and in sport competitions. The significant events and dates are also broadcast. The capabilities of the technical laboratory allow today to create educational videos, films, video lectures and video workshops that significantly complement the educational and methodological base.

Science and Practice

One of the components of the graduate's professional growth is scientific work and educational research, which is given great attention at the college. The development of research skills, creativity and professional competencies is at the heart of the activities of student circles.

Every year, more and more college students are involved in competitions and Olympiads. Such events include: Interregional competition of professional skills in the specialty 31.02.05 Orthopedic Dentistry (1 participant), VIII Interregional competition of professional skills «My future profession is a nurse» among graduate students of secondary medical and pharmaceutical educational institutions of the Central Federal District in the specialty «Nursing», Interregional competition with International participation of professional skills «Obstetrics - science and art» (3 participants), All-Russian online Olympiads in general professional disciplines and professional modules of the specialties of the KBSU Medical College among students of secondary professional educational organizations (132 participants), Regional Olympiads in the disciplines of the general education cycle among students of the Belgorod region VET in «Computer Science», «History», «History of the native land», «Geography», «Biology», «Russian language», «Literature» (15 participants), X International Forum of student and pedagogical initiatives «Healthy generation is the wealth of the country» (14 participants), IX International Competition of scientific, methodological, creative works «Motherland: patriotism, citizenship, traditionalism» (4 participants).

The interest of medical college students who take part in conferences is growing. Scientific papers and abstracts were prepared for the following conferences: the International Student Scientific and Practical Conference «Therapeutic and preventive activities of a medical worker» (54 participants), the All-Russian Student Scientific and practical Conference «For the Sake of life on Earth» dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1 participant).

Students successfully present the results of their work at research and creative work competitions and conferences. Our students have repeatedly won professional skill competitions at various levels:

• The regional stage of the Abilimpix championship. According to the results of the regional competence of the Abilimpics championship, «First aid» D. Isacheva took 2nd place. According to the competencies «Medical and social care» and «Digital curator», the bronze medalists were M. Khakimzhanova and L. Novikova.
• Regional stage of the All–Russian championship movement «Professionals»: Petruk A. – 1st place (competence «Orthopedic dentistry»), Reshetnev E. – 1st place (competence «Medical and social care»), Bazaev A. – 2nd place (competence «Orthopedic Dentistry»), Suprun A. - 2nd place (competence «Medical and social care»), Pokutneva D. – 3rd place (Pharmacy competence).
• VIII International Certification Olympiad «Trajectory of the Future»: in the nomination «Office applications» – the winners Gulevskaya K. (1st place) and Petrova V. (3rd place); in the nomination «MyOffice (User)» – Patsekina A. (2nd place).
• The VII All-Russian Olympiad with international participation in first aid «Save and preserve». Shumakova E. and Kulabukhova J. as part of the national team of the National Research University «BelSU», they became winners of the stages «First aid in extreme conditions» and «First aid for wounds».

Regional Olympiads in general educational subjects among students of the Belgorod region VET in «Informatics» – Androsova A.A. (1st place), Tyurmenko A. (3rd place); «History» – Semenikhina A. (3rd place); «History of the native land» – Semenikhina A. (3rd place); «Geography» – Galeeva K. (3rd place); «Biology» – Shchepilova Yu. (2nd place); «Russian language» – Klyzhenko E. (3rd place); «Literature» – Syagailo E. (3rd place).

• The All-Russian competition «Big Change» among students of the vocational school: Dudareva D.
• Network Olympiad in the discipline «Life safety» in the specialty 34.02.01 Nursing – 2 silver winners and 7 bronze.
• All–Russian student distance infographics competition «Nursing: past, present, future» specialty 34.02.01 Nursing - 2nd place Gulevskaya K.
• The competition «The best mediator» of secondary vocational education institutions of medical and pharmaceutical profiles: M. Koshmanova – 2nd place.
• The regional competition «The Star of Mercy – the unquenchable light». The winner of the Grand Prix was the team of the medical college of the National Research University «BelSU» «Kind Hearts»: Anastasia Razuvaeva, Zlata Radchenko, Leonid Mikhaylikov, Natalia Komur, Stepan Serenko and Angelina Moshchenko. The audience award and the status of the winner in the «Upward Movement» nomination were awarded to the Energy of Good team, also representing the university's medical college: Lilia Vovk, Polina and Maria Sinitsyn, Anna Gozhey and Alla Snukaeva.

Teachers also take an active part in professional competitions, which resulted in high results:

• The teacher of the CMC of nursing, L.P. Prudnikova, took the first place in the I regional industrial championship for professional skills among teachers and masters of industrial training of professional educational organizations of the Belgorod region.
• The teacher of the CMC of nursing, I.N. Shentseva, was awarded a diploma of the first degree of the All-Russian competition with international participation «Master class as a form of practice-oriented learning».
• The teacher of the CMC of general education disciplines Oleynits E.V. became the third in the nomination «Myofis (Teacher)» of the IX International Certification Olympiad «Trajectory of the future».

22 teachers of the Medical College of the Medical Institute of the National Research University «BelSU» became prize-winners of various levels of the All-Russian professional competition «Experience and skills of a vocational education teacher» among teachers in secondary vocational educational institutions.

Educational work

Educational activities at the National Research University «BelSU» are aimed at the realization of two interrelated goals: ensuring the socialization of student youth and their integration into the economic, political and socio-cultural space, as well as supporting the process of individualization of personality. The main tasks and priority activities of educational work within the framework of the OPOP are presented in the work program of education in the specialty and are posted in the information system «InfoBelGU: Educational process».

The purpose of college education is to form a holistic, harmoniously developed, competitive graduate personality, which is characterized by professionally and socially significant qualities: patriotism, citizenship, hard work, high morality and spirituality, independence, responsibility and tolerance, commitment to general cultural and corporate values, healthy lifestyle, creative aspiration and readiness for professional activity.

The Medical College has been cooperating with the Belgorod Diocese for over 26 years. More than 330 sisters of mercy have graduated over the years. They volunteer to take care of the seriously ill at the Red Cross Nursing Home and provide assistance to lonely war and labor veterans of the college.

Throughout the academic year, students of the Sisters of Mercy take part at the various thematic events:

• «I love you, Holy Belogorie!», the national holiday «Boyar Maslenitsa!», «The spiritual feat of Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna!» (in the nominal audience), the Orthodox evening «And every heart sings praise to Christ!»
• annually attend the interregional Orthodox exhibition «Angel of the Holy Belogorie»
• take part in the charity month «White Flower», where they raise funds for the treatment of children in the most critical situation, whose fate depends on each of us
• College volunteers are active participants in the annual city charity event «AIDS is a tragedy of humanity» and the city charity event «White Daisy», with the assistance of the Belgorod regional branch of the Russian Red Cross
• They are active participants in humanitarian missions of the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization #MYPLACE
• College students are the most active participants of the Donor Coming of Age program organized by the Belgorod Regional Blood Transfusion Station.

The college is actively working on the civil and patriotic education of students. To form patriotic consciousness, a sense of loyalty to one's Fatherland, mercy, compassion, readiness to fulfill civic duty and constitutional obligations to protect the interests of the Motherland, the following events are held as part of a long-term college project:

• acquaintance with the feat of Ekaterina Ivanova, a graduate of the medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», who became the first female hero of a special operation in Ukraine;
• class hour «Information security: the state policy of the Russian Federation»;
• «Historical Quest», «Walking through the city» - thematic events in conjunction with the museum-diorama «Battle of Kursk. Belgorod direction»;
• participation in the rally-concert «We do not abandon our own», dedicated to the entry into the Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions;
• Weekly class hours «Talking about important things»;
• Participation in the interregional educational campaign «Military-patriotic dictation»;
• round table «Our origins» together with the museum-diorama «Battle of Kursk. Belgorod direction»;
• writing New Year's Eve letters to soldiers participating in the SMO;
• an event dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust;
• the event «Crimea is ours!»;
• meeting-discussion «Topical issues of politics in modern Russia». The speaker of the event was Roman Andreevich Travin, Director of the Center for Socio-Political Education of the National Research University «BelSU»;
• patriotic evening «Hymn to the nurse!».

Every year, young students have been taking part in the work of the military-patriotic camp for students of secondary professional organizations of the Belgorod region, where they always take prizes.

Traditionally, the college hosts the «Wave of Memory» campaign, during which students meet with veterans, help them around the house: they work on household plots, improve household areas, and clean apartments.

For the formation of artistic and aesthetic tastes among students and in order to instill a love for beauty, the formation of a high level of education and conscious compliance with ethical standards, amateur creative teams traditionally continue their work in the college:

College students demonstrate their creativity at college events, city, regional, interregional and all-Russian competitions and festivals, where they become winners.

• The Military patriotic fees for students of professional educational organizations of the Belgorod region - Certificate for the I place.
• The online Tournament of students of the medical colleges of Russia, Belarus and Latvia on the game "WHAT? WHERE? WHEN? (SCIENTIA VISCES) - "Knowledge will win!"
• The Poem contest between students of the medical colleges of Russia, Latvia and Belarus.
• Certificate for the significant contribution to the fight against the spread of a new coronavirus infection.
• International Competition-festival of children, youth and adult creativity "Stars of Russia" - VIG "Panacea"
• The Regional stage of the Festival-competition "Student Spring 2021" (VIG "Panacea", the choreographic ensemble "Zabava", the vocal group "Variant")
• The 3rd City Competition in Patriotic Reading named after Sergei Sasin (A. Zhernovaya and V. Fesenko)
• The Interregional Festival-competition "Dancing Belogorye 2021" (the choreographic ensemble "Zabava")
• The Competition "The Best Student of the Year" of the charity foundation "Generation" (E. Yarchenko)

• All-Russian Competition of Arts of the Creative Association "Revival of Arts"

For several decades, the college has been operating the charity project "Hurry up to do good," within the framework of which a charity ball is organized and held annually for children from the regional social rehabilitation center for minors and children from low-income families under the patronage of the Preobrazhensky Cathedral.

In order to form a socially active person adapted to the conditions of life, develop organizational and communicative abilities, student self-government bodies have been created and operate in the college - the College Student Council, a trade union student organization.

Serious attention is paid to physical education, healthy lifestyle of students and their involvement to sports. 47% of students attend the following sports sections: athletics, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, all-around. All mass health-improving and sports events are an effective means of involving students in regular sports, complement the educational work in physical education, promote health, prepare for successful work.

All the work of physical education teachers is aimed at involving more students in sports classes and healthy leisure activities. College students actively participate in both college sports events and university, regional, and Russian competitions: in volleyball, basketball, track and field cross country, the Spartakiad of the National Research University "BelSU" in various sports, etc., where they become prize-winners and winners.

The results of these competitions:

• Open cup of the sports club of the National Research University «BelSU» among women's volleyball teams - bronze medal.

• Competitions of the National Research University «BelSU» among mixed student basketball teams 2/2. Two teams of the medical college won - silver and bronze medals.
• A match meeting in athletics among the teams of the Union State dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. Victoria Kozlova, a student of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», became the silver medalist in the pole vault.
• In the Armata military historical training camp, the students of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU» took 1st place in shooting, as well as 2 places in passing the TRP standards and reviewing the formation and song.
• V All-Russian TRP Festival among students. According to the results of the personal all-around competition, Ekaterina Popova, a student of the medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», took the 2nd place.
• The championship of the Belgorod region in 3x3 basketball, dedicated to the Day of the physical education student. Maria Kutsopal and Daria Solodovnikova, students of the Medical College of the National Research University «BelSU», won gold awards as part of the team of the National Research University «BelSU» born in 2006-2007.
• The Champions Cup in paraathletics, included in the calendar of the International Paralympic Committee. Evgenia Vysotskaya, a student of the Medical College of the National Research University «BelSU», became the best in the 200 meters, and also finished second in the 100 meters.
• The Voronezh Region Championship and the Central Federal District Championship in Tula in powerlifting. Varvara Sazonova, a student of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», took 1st place.
• International competition of scientific research works in the field of physical culture, sports and life safety. Mila Koshmanova, a student of the Medical College of the National Research University «BelSU», took 1st place in the nomination «Rhythmic gymnastics - the embodiment of aesthetics, grace and beauty».
• Russian Bodybuilding Cup Fitness Challenge 2024. Alexander Reznichenko, a student of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», won a silver medal in the category «Masters».
• The open cup of the Belgorod region bodybuilding Fitness Challenge Student of the medical college of the National Research University «BelSU» Alexander Reznichenko became the bronze medalist in the category «Masters» among men.
• The Belgorod Region Wrestling Championship. Egor Kindishev, a student of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», took the 1st place.
• All-Russian Aikido Forum «Kazan Zilant». Polina Kiyanitsina, a student of the medical college of the National Research University «BelGUK», became the best in the discipline «Jui Waza 16-18 years old juniors» and closed the top three in the discipline «Kihon Waza 16-18 years old juniors».
• Russian Aikido Championship 2023. Polina Kiyanitsina, a student of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», became the absolute champion, winning in two disciplines.
• The championship of the Belgorod region in mini-lapta among juniors and juniors aged 15-17 years. Danil Gedz, a student of the medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», took the 2nd place as part of the MBU team to the Secondary School of the Rakityansky district and joined the national team of the Belgorod region.
• International multisport tournament in the concept of the digital «Games of the Future» 2024. Danil Afanasyev, a student of the Medical college of the National Research University «BelSU», was a participant and captain of the Dragonspeed team in the discipline «Speedrun».

In the sports contest of the National Research University «BelSU» among the teams of institutes and colleges in Russian draughts, students of the medical college took:

• the 2nd place among the women's teams: Ksenia Babynina, Anastasia Lebedeva, Elizaveta Fedyanina, Anna Pashneva
• the 2nd place among men's teams: Igor Maslov, Artem Mishnev, Nasir Saidumov, Burkhonidinov Saidul-Maksud, Yudaev Egor, Mikhail Polnikov.

In the sports contest of the National Research University «BelSU» (team championship) in stokelet draughts, students of the medical college took the 3rd place among the women's teams: Ksenia Babynina, Anastasia Lebedeva, Elizabeth Fedyanina.

In the sports contest of the National Research University «BelSU» in the personal championship, students of the medical college took:

• backgammon the 2nd place Burkhonidinov Saidul-Maksud;
• in Russian draughts, the 3rd place Maslov Igor, the 2nd place Babynina Ksenia, the 2nd place Burkhonidinov Saidul-Maksud;
• in reverse checkers , the 3rd place is Babynina Ksenia;

According to renju, Burkhonidinov Saidul Maksud took the 2nd place, Igor Maslov took the 3rd place, Ksenia Babynina took the 2nd place.

Prospects of development

Today our medical college continues to perfect the activity. The basic priority directions of development of medical college it is been:

• Increasing the contingent to 3,000 students;
• Participation in the implementation of the Regional Strategy for providing the Belgorod region's healthcare system with medical personnel for 2021-2030;
• Increasing the academic reputation and improving the multilevel system of lifelong learning;
• Development of educational-methodical, informational and material-technical base of the educational process, involving the effective use of electronic educational resources;
