Cycle methodical commissions of college
Today, the Medical College of the Medical Institute of the «BelSU» is an innovative educational complex, the main components of which is personnel stuff who can realize main tasks of new educational standards.
Over the years, the college was prepared more than 40,000 specialists who work in medical institutions not only in our region but also in hospitals in other regions of Russia and abroad. College graduates are: the head of the Department of the General Surgery of the Moscow State Medical University №1 named after I.M. Sechenov academician of the RAS, doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation V.K. Gostishchev, the chief of the Department of Vascular Surgery of the Military Medical Academy named after C.M. Kirov, Candidate of Medical Sciences K.V. Kitachev, the head of the Department of the faculty surgical diseases of the Medical Institute of the «BelSU», , the head of the Department of Family Medicine, head of speciality «General Medicine and Pediatrics» of the Medical Institute of the «BelSU» M.Doctor, professor N.I. Zhernakova, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor B.S. Kovalenko, chief physician of the ICSI named after B.V. Trifonova of the «BelSU» K.S. In 2021, the Medical College of Medical Institute of the «BelSU» was accrediated for all these specialties.
Within the framework of professional and public accreditation, an examination of the main professional educational programs in the specialties 33.02.01 Pharmacy, 31.02.03 Laboratory diagnostics was conducted.
The material and technical base of the college meets the requirements of the federal state standards of secondary vocational education. To implement the educational process in all professional educational programs, there are classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern equipment and technical training facilities. The Medical College of the Medical Institute of the National Research University «BelSU» has a material and technical base that provides for all types of laboratory work and practical training, disciplinary, interdisciplinary and modular training, as well as educational practice provided for by the curricula for the specialties being implemented.
A system of educational and methodical work has been created in the Medical College of the Medical Institute of the National Research University «BelSU», the center of which is the methodical office. Experienced mentors are the heads of cyclic methodological commissions. Most of them has great pedagogical experience.
The association of the college network with the network of the National Research University «BelSU», the analysis of its experience and the training of teachers on the basis of the National Research University «BelSU» created the prerequisites for the introduction of Internet technologies into the educational process. To date, electronic educational and methodological complexes of disciplines have been created and placed in the Pegasus e-learning system.
The College has a powerful information and telecommunication infrastructure that ensures our educational and economic activities on the modern level. A television network has been created and is developing. The college's cable television combines 11 television outlets. The channel of the Medical College of the National Research University «BelSU» has been created on Youtube. The news releases are made with the help of the video studio resources. They talk about the collegelife, methodological seminars, open educational events and non-educational activities, the teachers' and students' achievements in scientific, educational, research work and in sport competitions. The significant events and dates are also broadcast. The capabilities of the technical laboratory allow today to create educational videos, films, video lectures and video workshops that significantly complement the educational and methodological base.

The compulsory part of the graduates' professional growth is the educational scientific work to which a great attention is paid. The development of research skills, creative potentials and professional competences lies in the base of the students' research activity.
Every year more and more college students are involved in competitions and olympiads as participants. Such events include: Interregional competition of professional skills in the specialty 31.02.05 Orthopedic Dentistry (3 participants), All-Russian online Olympiads in professional modules of specialties of the KBSU Medical College among students of secondary vocational educational organizations (91 participants), Regional Olympiads in general educational subjects «Biology», «Chemistry», «Law», «Informatics», «Social Science», «Economics» (11 participants).
The interest of medical college students who take part in conferences is growing. Scientific papers and abstracts were prepared for the following conferences: II scientific and theoretical conference with international participation «Tea in historical, cultural and medical aspects» (3 participants), III interregional scientific and practical conference «From creativity to research» for students of professional educational organizations (27 participants), All-Russian student conference «Students and the quality of education: models of implementation at the university» (1 participant).
The students represent the results of their work in a competition of research and creative works that is hold within the scientific session of the University as well as in different interregional scientific and practical conferences. Our students have repeatedly become winners of professional skill competitions of various levels:

Educational work is a complex, multifaceted, and time-consuming process. The main, specific task of the educational activities of the medical college is to create conditions that ensure the possibility of the normal development of the younger generation: the study by teachers of their individual characteristics, the timely identification of typical crisis situations that arise in students of a certain age, involvement in various college events, work with parents.

The basis of the profession of a future medical worker is mercy, compassion, sensitivity, kindness, disinterestedness, responsibility.
For 25 years, the medical college has been cooperating with the Belgorod diocese. Over 330 Sisters of Mercy have been released over the years. They volunteer to care for the seriously ill at the Red Cross Nursing Home, and provide assistance to lonely veterans of war and college labor.
Throughout the academic year, students of the sister of mercy take part in various thematic events:
College students are the most active participants in the Donor Coming of Age program organized by the Belgorod Regional Blood Transfusion Station.
On the initiative and with the direct support of Father Oleg, rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral, in June 2022, the opening of the «Sisters of Mercy in the name of Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna» took place.
In order to adapt first-year students, the psychologist of the medical college conducts psychological trainings annually in September-October. Also, during the academic year, the events of the psychological service of the college are held regularly (1-2 times a month) and include the entire target audience of college students.
In order to develop in students such qualities as responsiveness, mercy, empathy, acquaintance with the cultural traditions and Orthodox customs of the Russian people, the following open extracurricular events are held: an open extracurricular event-holiday «How beautiful the word Mom is!», «Our temple of sciences is illuminated with light», and many others.
The college is actively working on the civil and patriotic education of students. To form patriotic consciousness, a sense of loyalty to one's Fatherland, mercy, compassion, readiness to fulfill civic duty and constitutional obligations to protect the interests of the Motherland, within the framework of a long-term college project, such events are traditionally held as:
For the formation of artistic and aesthetic tastes among students and with the aim of instilling a love for beauty, the formation of a high level of education and conscious observance of ethical standards, the following events are held in the college: «Teacher, thank you for your work!», «The world of my hobbies!», «From the Belgorod province to the Belgorod region», «The earth is our common home!» (on the Day of the founding of the GreenPeace movement), «There lived such an absent-minded person from Basseinaya Street» (on the 135th anniversary of S.Ya. Marshak), «I love you, Holy Belogorye!» and many others.

Review of the talents of the groups of the new set «Discover your talent!» helped to identify and involve in active extracurricular work a large number of new first-year students.
Amateur creative teams traditionally continue their work in the college:
College students demonstrate their creativity at college events, city, regional, interregional and all-Russian competitions and festivals, where they become winners.
For the second year in a row, the folk dance ensemble «Zabava» will represent the Belgorod Region at the All-Russian stage of the festival-competition «Student Spring».
For several years, the college has been running a charity project «Hurry to do good», within the framework of which a charity ball is annually organized and held for children from the regional social and rehabilitation center for minors and children from low-income families under the patronage of the Transfiguration Cathedral.
In order to form a socially active person adapted to the conditions of life, to develop organizational and communication skills in the college, student self-government bodies have been created and are working - the Student Council of the College, a trade union student organization.
Serious attention is paid to physical education, healthy lifestyle of students and their introduction to sports. 47% of students attend sports sections in athletics, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, all-around. All mass health-improving and sports events are an effective means of involving students in regular sports, complement the educational work in physical education, promote health, prepare for successful work.
All the work of physical education teachers is aimed at involving more students in sports sections, healthy leisure activities.
College students actively participate both in college sports events and in city competitions: in volleyball, basketball, track and field cross-country, the NRU «BelSU» Spartakiade in various sports, where they become prize-winners and winners.
