The Department of International Cooperation is a support structural unit of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "Belgorod State National Research University" (hereinafter referred to as BSU or the University), created to coordinate and develop the University's international activities.
Department Objectives
Strategic planning of the University's activities in the area of international cooperation, coordination and regulation of the international activities of the University and its structural divisions.
Organizational, methodological, regulatory, and legal support, as well as expert and analytical support for the international activities of BSU.
Planning, organizing, supporting, and monitoring the work of institutes, faculties, colleges, and departments related to international activities.
Providing statistical and information support and monitoring of the University's international activities.
Ensuring the export of the University's educational services.
Expanding interuniversity international cooperation.
Ensuring compliance by the University and students with the norms of migration legislation of the Russian Federation, providing accommodation and visa support for foreign students.
Providing documentation and information support for foreign students.
Organizational support and documentation for academic mobility and international internships for students and faculty.
Organizing interactions with international partners to implement online educational programs.
Conducting the recognition procedure for educational documents obtained abroad.
Participating, within the Department's purview, in the preparation and implementation of management decisions of the University's governing bodies.
Using tools and methods to strengthen the financial position and develop the University's income-generating activities.
Department Functions
Developing and ensuring the adoption, in accordance with established procedures, of local regulations concerning the activities of the structural unit.
Participating, jointly with other University departments, in inspections conducted by state control (supervisory) bodies, and reviewing orders (representations) issued based on the results of the inspection.
Considering, jointly with other University departments, appeals received from individuals, legal entities, and government agencies within the scope of the powers vested in the structural unit.
Participating in the work of commissions and working groups in accordance with the University's local regulations.
Preparation and participation in the drafting of local regulations concerning issues within the purview of the structural unit and on behalf of the University's governing bodies.
