Students’ ball, dedicated to Students Day took place at BelSU Theology and Social Sciences Department
Traditional Students’ Day Ball was organized by BelSU Cultural Center, university’s art clubs and students.
The ball began with opening address from the Vice principal for Culture and Education Svetlana Ostrikova. She said that the ball concludes all Students’ Day’s events and reminded that students’ balls are an old Russian tradition.
All waltzing pairs were the students of Belgorod universities: BelSU, BSTU, Belgorod State Agricultural University etc. and dance ensembles of Belgorod region. They’ve danced various dances: polonaise, polka, Viennese Waltz, pas-de-grace, gavot and others.
Art clubs of BelSU: academic choir, “Exclusive” show-group, “Belogorochka” dance ensemble, “Maridance” ballet and “Terpsikhora” ensemble took part in event, and all girls named Tatiana got roses as a gift for Tatiana’s Day (25th of January).
The ball ended with the Big Waltz, the symbol of a true students’ friendship and a wonderful night.
