Strengthening academic and scientific connections with Moldova

The delegation of BelSU Teacher training college physical culture faculty has visited Moldova (The Dnestr-Moldavian republic).

Representatives of BelSU (professors Vladimir Irkhin and Fedor Sobyanin) participated in the organization and a traditional methodological seminar "The knowledge-intensive classes of the phenomena in the theory of physical culture", have made urgent reports on problems of development of the latest tendencies in the higher professional sports education and introductions of the GTO complex in modern Russia.

During the business trip, they have successfully passed a training at pedagogics and psychology of sport department.

During stay in Tiraspol documents on implementation of the first joint educational master program between faculties of physical culture of BelSU and Shevchenko PSU in the "Pedagogical Technologies in Physical Culture" direction, which is aimed at preparation of sportsmen and teachers, with double diploma, have been signed.

The project will begin during the next academic year and will become, as the dean of faculty of physical culture and sport of Shevchenko DSU professor Vasily Gutsu has noted, a historical event for both higher education institutions and a new stage in development of the academic and scientific contacts between universities.
