School holidays with Belgorod State University

During three days children were involved in various lectures, master-classes, team work, projects drafting and defending, as well as in “Learn All Sides of Student Life” quest game.

At the opening ceremony the workshop participants were welcomed by Elena Tsukanova, the Acting Vice-Rector for Discipline and Youth Policy, and Natalia Yeranova, the Director of the university’s Centre for Youth Initiatives, who wished the schoolchildren to freely join the big friendly student community.

The general team-building for schoolchildren was conducted by Svetlana Mashkova, a senior tutor of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education of BelSU Pedagogical Institute. The skills of team work were taught to perspective students by Saveliy Nevenchenko, the Ex-Head of BelSU Institute of Tutors, and Marina Usacheva, the Chair of Students' Union, gave a lecture on organising mass events.

The workshop was finalized by the certificates awarding ceremony, followed by the participants’ sharing impressions with the event organizers.
