Educational events at Belgorod State University’s Professional School of Pedagogy seamlessly blend university-based learning with practical training at partner schools.
As part of a strategic collaboration between the Pedagogical Professional School at Belgorod National Research University (BelSU) and Belgorod Gymnasium No. 5, a vibrant educational event was recently held. Led by Professor Larisa Voronina, third-year students prepared and conducted an interactive immersion course titled “Hospitality in Different Countries” for senior students.
The event showcased how the theoretical knowledge gained at the university translates into practical pedagogical skills. The future teachers aimed not only to introduce the students to the rich cultural diversity of the world but also to emphasize the importance of intercultural dialogue and spark an interest in language learning.
The student teachers acted as expert guides, each representing a different country. Daria Baranova showcased Russia, Valentina Eroshenko represented Japan, Andrey Kozyrev introduced Turkey, Elizaveta Koreneva highlighted Italy, Sofia Volodina presented the USA, and Alexandra Yakovleva covered Germany.
The collaborative effort created a truly friendly and inspiring atmosphere. Projects like these underscore the effectiveness of university-school partnerships, providing valuable experience in teamwork and problem solving for all participants.
