The grant of “Erasmus Mundus” international academic mobility program allowed a teacher from BelSU Institute of Pedagogic to take a half year-long internship in Germany
An associate professor of Institute of Pedagogic Pre-school, Primary and Special Education Department Psychological Subdepartment Maria Sitnikova won a grant of “Erasmus Mundus” international academic mobility program at took a scientific internship at Tubingen (Germany).
University of Tubingen is one of the oldest in Germany and Europe. An internship was conducted by LEAD Graduate School for masters and postgraduates. It realizes an innovational cross-disciplinary approach in teaching, development and education.
During the six months of internship, M. Sitnikova and scientists from diagnostical and cognitive neuropsychology laboratory conducted a neuropsychological research of left-handed and right-handed students’ brain activity during the solving of mathematic problems. The research was performed with portable diffusion optic CT scan NIR Sport under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hans-Christoph Nürk, Dr. Of Science.
The results of research showed potential, scientific and applied significance of the problem and were interesting for German colleagues. Professor Nürk expressed the hope that in near future neuropsychological laboratory would be opened at BelSU. It would allow to continue cooperation on the project and cooperative Russian-German scientific research and production.
Professor Nürk will soon visit BelSU due to international cooperation with University of Tubingen. The scientists from diagnostical and neuropsychology laboratory together with colleagues from BelSU Psychology Subdepartment will take part in fundamental scientific research contest organized by RFBR and DFG in January 2016.
