Advance of educational process

The meeting of the Вoard included the Principal Oleg Polukhin, vice principals, directors of the institutes, deans, heads of subdepartments, teachers and students.

The Principal Oleg Polukhin said that he need to listen to colleagues’ opinion to create the detailed picture of educational process to discuss at Scientific council and Principal Council’s meetings.

“Our goal is educational process’ improvement. Educational plans should work at education quality’s enhancement and consider employers’ demands”, – he said.

Vice Principal for Education and IT Aleksandr Mamatov said that every field of education in university has its own educational and methodic council. He also mentioned 22 work groups for analysis and actualization of educational plans.

Vice principal also spoke about possible changes in educational programs, increase or recession of hours etc.

Director of BelSU Strakhov Scientific Library Valentina Monastyrova told about the efficiency of library’s digital resources. She said that digital library’s popularity increased more than ten times for the past several years. The library has more digital resources than libraries of other universities, and databases would increase.

In the end, the first principal Aleksandr Mamatov said that all suggestions would be reviewed at the earliest Scientific Council and Principal’s Council.
