Students of the Belgorod State University were trained at the intensive English language courses in partner higher education institution Emerald Cultural institute, in the heart of Ireland – the city of Dublin
The main advantage of this program – is a possibility foreign language skills’ development under the leadership of highly skilled Irish teachers. Daily classes took place in international groups. Children studied oral speech and grammar. Easy communication with peers from various countries of the world, fascinating games, movie watching and discussion of the latest news, accommodation in the Irish families – all of this helped to develop speaking skills and perception of the foreign speech, completely immersing students in language environment.
The training lasted three weeks. For most of students who represented different institutes and faculties of higher education institution this trip became the brightest and unforgettable event of year. Svetlana Savina, the student of Institute of management, says that she is glad for an opportunity to improve knowledge of a foreign language in Ireland.
– It was my first experience abroad without parents when I was responsible for myself. It isvery nice when strangers come to the rescue, become friends. Thanks to the university for an opportunity to see the world, – she said.
The cooperation agreement between BelSU and Emerald Cultural Institute, has been signed in 2005 with active participation of BelSU international cooperation office. In March, 2016 it has been prolonged for five years during the official meeting of the rector of BelSU Oleg Polukhin and the director of Emerald Cultural institute Mauro Biondi.
