BNRU welcomed colleagues from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Hanze UAS)
The two-day visit involved meetings with heads of Institutes and Faculties, and participation in round table discussions and seminars.
“In line with our program of academic mobility, several dozen students have studied in the Netherlands. However, our partnership is not limited to education, we also closely cooperate in the scientific sphere. This is underlined by the number of projects aimed at finding completely new solutions in engineering technology. I am confident that we will continue to develop this cooperation for the benefit of our countries and our universities.”
Dr Verhofstad then thanked the Rector for his help with achieving these joint results, and went on to talk about the prospects for cooperation in PhD programs. After this, students talked about their projects. The celebration culminated with the presentation of a souvenir called 'Groningen Horizon' by Dr Verhofstad, gratefully received by the Rector, which now adorns the exhibition.
