BelSU has signed an agreement with the Association of members of technological clubs
The agreement was signed by Alexander Mamatov, vice-rector for educational activities of BelSU and the president of the Association of technological clubs, Alexey Fedoseyev, secretary of the organizing committee of the STI Olympiad, as part of the Ostrov 10-22 educational intensive program held at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. The agreement was signed as part of the implementation of the “Club Movement” roadmap of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) with the aim of supporting talented schoolchildren and students.
As a result of the agreement, Belgorod State University will become an active user of the Talent digital platform. This platform is an intellectual service for the selection of individual development programs for talented young people, recommending its participants personal development trajectories. According to experts, “Talent” forms a “digital footprint” of schoolchildren and students - collects information about the activities in which they participate, the tasks and achievements, and fixes the links between participants and mentors during teamwork in teams and circles. The system analyzes the obtained data using the methods of machine learning and taking into account the knowledge, skills and interests of the user, the platform itself recommends certain educational programs and events.
In addition to schoolchildren and students, mentors will become another category of Talent users. They will be able not only to monitor the progress of students, but also to leave their “digital footprint”: to confirm the competence of a mentor through participation in projects and events, training winners and prize-winners of the STI Olympiad, and so on.
