Staff and students from Belgorod State University's Higher School of Management and Institute of Economics and Management, organised a career guidance day for local children
The children were introduced to professions in ways that were designed to be fun and stimulating. They were able to undergo psychometric testing, if they so desired, and sit through lectures of their choice. They played team-building games, and worked on tasks related to careers in science and tech.
The program is designed by Dr Natalya Govorukha and Dr Tatyana Streltsova, to help children make good career choices, and furthermore, to introduce them to the world of work, and also the University. This process of demystification can be vital for young people, and benefits our staff directly, insofar as our students are happy with the courses they have chosen, and can quickly get into the swing of things. The program ran for four days during the school holidays.
