NRU "BelSU" has switched to distance learning

Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, NRU “BelSU” has switched to distance learning. Teachers and students are now included in the learning process online. According to Vladimir Belenko, Head of the Department of Electronic Educational Technologies, distance learning technologies have been used at the NRU "BelSU" since 2004, and to date, teachers have created more than 4500 internal online courses.

All spring semester disciplines are provided with electronic courses. The asynchronous mode is mostly being used with the teacher providing the educational process plan which includes a schedule that clearly indicates current topics and tasks to complete, tests and creative tasks for the students which are then checked by the teacher. Currently, the Pegasus distance learning system includes more than 2,000 support resources through which students and teachers can get information on all technical issues.

The NRU "BelSU" currently has opened a hotline on distance education and coronavirus infection - 8 (4722) 73-25-63. The institutes and colleges of Belgorod State University have consultants on the use of electronic information and educational environment tools.

Interaction with students will also be carried out via video conferencing. All the necessary instructions on the use of distance learning technologies for students and teachers are available in the e-learning system in the sections "For Teachers" and "Help for Students".
