About 100 participants from different countries studied foreign languages via videconferencing
That is the 8th year in a row that the Centre for Foreign Languages and Academic Writing provides an opportunity for the students to undertake a two weeks’ foreign language course. Over 90 school participants studied English, Spanish, French, German, Serbian, Italian languages parallel to attending language and other workshops by instructors and visiting teachers during the online session in July.
Videoconference enabled to involve the representatives of different countries – 11 native speakers taught at the International Language Summer School.
“Classes via videoconferencing allowed us to extend the program due to participation of speakers from other countries. For example, a staff member of Hanze University of Applied Sciences taught a class on History and Culture of The Netherlands”, the Director of Centre for Foreign Languages and Academic Writing Larisa Tsurikova said.
At the end of the session the participants presented their creative projects that were accomplished in a team work.
