The meeting chaired by BelSU Rector Oleg Polukhin was organized via videoconferencing
The Vice-Rector for Education Aleksandr Mamatov reported on organizing educational process at the university. The Vice-Rector for Education Quality and Further Education Vladimir Shapovalov told about the current situation with classes attendance underlying that at some institutes its rate as for the first-year students is above 60%.
The Rector paid attention to the recommendations issued by the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights and the Ministry of Education and Science according to which the university approved its own Regulations of Performance in Conditions of High Risk Due to COVID. The regulations assume strengthening health control of the whole staff.
“In case any student is diagnosed fever and symptoms of a respiratory condition, he is immediately isolated and sent to a COVID testing centre. All other students who had any contact with the student are placed to distance learning”, commented Oleg Polukhin.
The Vice-Rector for Construction and Maintenance Evgeniy Ivakhnenko and Director of Department for Social Policy Tatiana Nikulina informed the conference participants about the hygiene and infection control adopted at the university and its dormitories.
The Vice-Rector for International Relations Vladislav Kuchmistiy related of managing educational process for international students referring to the fact that all the international students who have no possibility to leave their countries to study had been connected to the university’s distance learning platform «Pegasus» and began their education.
