The III Kazan International Linguistic Summit, planned to be held until 19th November in Kazan, brings together researchers from different regions of Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries.
The summit, which is held in a mixed format, includes the international scientific conference “Modern Linguistics: From Theory to Practice” and the linguistic and methodological festival “Linguistic Trends and Methodological Innovations”.
The conference programme, beside the scientific sessions and plenary reports of the key speakers, includes speeches of the editors of scientific periodicals.
The scientific journals of Belgorod State University were presented at the summit by Olga Dekhnich, the Editor-in-Chief of the “Scientific Result. Issues of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics” Journal, who presented the report “Modern Linguistic Journal: Scientific Ethics and Content Quality” at the field-specific session.
According to Olga Dekhnich, the journal is collaborating with two linguistic laboratories of Kazan Federal University – the Research Laboratory on Text Analytics (Professor Marina Solnishkina, the Head of the laboratory) and Research Laboratory on Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence (Professor Valery Solovyov, the scientific supervisor).
Beside Valery Solovyov and Marina Solnishkina, the guest editors of the special edition of the “Scientific Result. Issues of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics” Journal, the conference was attended by Professor Mikhai Dascalu from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania).
