Two students of "BelSU" National Research University won medals at the continental competitions

Nikita Yushchik, a second-year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the Pedagogical Institute, as part of the Russian national team won the gold medal of the European Championship in Sports Tourism, which was held in Brest (Republic of Belarus).

The men's team rose to the highest step of the victory podium in the team long walking distance, including orienteering.

As Nikita noted, the distance of more than 15 km included more than 13 stages of the highest level of complexity, which were connected by orientation through the forest.

Vadim Shcheblykin, a student of the Medical Institute of "BelSU" National Research University, won the silver medal of the European Boxing Cup in the weight category up to 86 kg in the Montenegrin Budva, in which athletes from 30 countries took part.

In the final match, Vadim lost to Alexey Alferov from Belarus by unanimous decision of the judges.
