Over 70 scientific papers from postgraduate students at universities across Russia and Tajikistan were submitted to the All-Russian competition titled “Perspectives of Public Law and Order in Russia in Scientific Articles of Postgraduate Students and Degree Applicants.”
The competition was organized by the BelSU Law Institute in collaboration with the Interregional Educational Public Organization “Association of Orthodox Scientists.” It attracted participants from various cities, including Belgorod, Moscow, Krasnodar, Sterlitamak, and beyond, as well as from Tajikistan.
The theme of public law and order encompassed a wide range of topics, including youth parliamentarism, the institutionalization of amnesty, state control and supervision in higher education legislation, constitutional guarantees for children’s health protection, the role of judicial authorities in safeguarding domestic constitutional security, the protection of passive electoral rights, and the state’s role in implementing public-law functions. The jury recognized outstanding contributions from several postgraduate students: Jafar Artykov (Tajikistan), Andrey Butov (Belgorod), Tatyana Gavrilina (Sterlitamak), Denis Gafurov (Moscow), Kirill Kireev (Belgorod), Pavel Melnikov (Belgorod), Yuri Namitokova (Krasnodar), and Irina Khmelevskaya (Belgorod).
The competition committee included prominent figures such as Archpriest Gennady Zaridze, chairman of the Association of Orthodox Scientists and rector of the Mantle of Holy Mother Church in Otradnoye village; Evgeny Tonkov, Director of the BelSU Law Institute and Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation; Marina Markhgeim, Head of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation; Alevtina Novikova, a Professor and Head of the Scientific and Educational Center “Human Rights and Integration Problems”; Elena Safronova, Professor and Head of the Belgorod Regional Branch of the Association of Orthodox Scientists; and Inna Buynyakova, Director of the Department of Training and Certification of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel.
