The finalists presented their work at the 10th anniversary forum, Science of the Future – Science of the Young, which brought together students, graduate students, young researchers, and established scientists.
Talented young researchers from across Russia and over 20 foreign countries participated in the finals of the competition. This year, the organizers noted that they received over 3,000 applications, from which a select tenth were chosen based on ten themes: agro-, bio-, and food technologies; humanities; engineering and social sciences; information sciences and mathematics; physics and astronomy; chemistry; life sciences; earth sciences; and materials science. A key selection criterion was the alignment of each research paper with scientific and technological development priorities, as well as the presence of significant scientific results.
During the Science of the Future – Science of the Young forum, competition finalists had the opportunity to present their papers and receive valuable feedback from experts in their fields.
Ba Amadou, a postgraduate student in the Department of Journalism at the BelSU Institute of Social Sciences and Mass Communications, advanced to the finals under the guidance of Professor Andrey Polonsky, Doctor of Philosophy. He presented a paper titled "Periodicals in the Modern Media System of the Republic of Mali."
