Dublin, Belgorod to continue efforts for more cooperation

At the meeting with Oleg Polukhin, Director of Emerald Cultural Institute Mauro Biondi, said ECI and BelSU had collaborated for ten years, and during this period, scores of BelSU students and teachers had completed language courses in Ireland.  «Recently, I had a meeting with Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and I cited our work as an example of a successful collaboration. I believe the decade long period of our partnership was of mutual benefit, and I hope our cooperation to be continued».

Oleg Polukhin in his turn expressed a high opinion of the results of cooperation with Emerald Cultural Institute and proposed the guest to consider the possibility of involving the Irish educational center teachers into the BelSU English language summer school project.

«We have set ourselves an objective that the majority of our students and faculty should speak English fluently by 2017, and we will very much need your help with this. That’s why we will continue organizing language trainings in Ireland and will welcome your teachers at our university” said Oleg Polukhin.

Later in the day, Mauro Biondi presented Emerald Cultural Institute to the students and spoke of the Institute’s working educational programs. Emerald Cultural Institute issues international certificates, and many BelSU students and teachers already have ones.
