New Format for Economics

The Second International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Economic Issues during Reformation of Modern Society” was held in BelSU.

The conference was organized jointly by Kharkiv National University of Economics n.a. Simon Kuznets and Belgorod State National Research University. Representatives of event organizing universities participated along with 82 researchers from Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, St. Petersburg University of Russian Ministry of Interior, Ukrainian National Academy of Science’s Kharkiv Scientific Research Center for Industrial Development Issues.

The plenary session was opened by welcome words from Igor Konstantinov, Vice Rector for Scientific work and Innovation and deputy chairman of the conference organizing committee. He emphasized the importance of the subject matter under discussion for modern society and contemporary science.

The scientists’ work at the conference was organized as nine simultaneously run panels. They exchanged research results and views on economic aspects of society regional development, means of human potential preservation and development, principal vectors of business accounting in Russia, and other topics of pressing importance. One of the panels, “Main Issues of Modern Development of Socio-Economic System,” had set English as its working language.
