Rector was elected to Civic Chamber of Russia

The most of members of Civic Chamber of the Belgorod region voted for Oleg Polukhin, Doctor of Political Science, to be elected member of Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Anatoly Gridchin, Head of Council of Rectors of the Belgorod region, endorsed the candidacy of Oleg Polukhin for member of Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. His rival, Vladimir Chursin is the Editor-in-Chief of Istoki – a local newspaper of the Prokhorovka District. Vladimir Chursin was nominated by members of Civic Chamber of the Belgorod region. After secret ballot voting was carried out, Oleg Polukhin was the successful candidate for the position.

Before being elected BelSU Rector in May 2012, Oleg Polukhin had an extensive eighteen-year experience in civil service. He has been a member of Civic Chamber of the Belgorod region since November, 2013.
