Welcoming a guest from Brazil

Alexis Toríbio DANTAS, a professor of Rio De Janeiro State University (Universidad del Estado de Río de Janeiro (UERJ)) visited Belgorod State University on the invitation of BelSU Rector and Administration. Professor Dantas got acquainted with the BelSU Institute of Management, the Demographic Processes Research Laboratory, and research and educational activities of the University.

According to Oleg Polukhin, geographical distance between the two universities is no object for establishing cooperation in teaching staff exchange, research and subsequent publication if the findings both in Russian and international scientific journals.

Professor Dantas underlined that Rio De Janeiro State University was also interested in joint research and in publishing its findings in UERJ scientific journals in the Portuguese language, and both our universities would benefit from teaching staff exchange, development of two-sided collaboration and invitation of research initiative from other universities of Russia. He also thanked Oleg Polukhin for invitation, and in his turn, invited him to make a back visit to Rio De Janeiro State University.

Following the schedule of his visit, Professor Dantas will give an open lecture to students of the Management Institute and will participate in a round-table conference with Management Academy attendees.
