12 BelSU students have completed a two-week language training in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The training was based in Brighton language school – a member of British language centres association. The communication at classes and during free time was conducted solely in the English language that proved a perfect skill-intensive practice.
After classes the students participated in various events and activities organized by school leaders. The students went on excursions to London, Windsor, Eton, Oxford and managed to see many other places of interest.
The students could also benefit from their accommodation: staying with British families helped them to widen their social network and literally to leap over the language barrier.
On the completion of the training course, the students received language level certificates. Elena Kulikova was certified for Advanced level in speech and listening, and all other students – for Upper Intermediate.
Note. The training was initiated by Alexey Kolesnikov, Dean of the BelSU Faculty of Foreign Languages, and was supported by the Poliglot centre for foreign language education.
