The 10th All-Russian Contest of Vocal Art and Artistic Word, titled “Your Time – 2025,” recently took place in Belgorod.
Organized by the municipal cultural centre “Officers’ Club” of Belgorod, this contest has gained significant popularity over the past decade, attracting more than 24,000 talented singers and performers from across Russia.
At the grand opening, Konstantin Kurgansky, the Minister of Culture of the Belgorod Region, delivered a welcoming speech, expressing gratitude to the organizers and wishing success to all contestants.
The esteemed jury featured notable figures in the music industry, including Andrey Solod, a singer who has won the World Championship of Arts in Los Angeles and the Grand Prix at the International Vocal Competition in Thessaloniki. He is also a regular expert on the popular vocal TV show “All Together!” Joining him were Petr Elfimov, a music producer, singer, composer, and vocal teacher known for his participation in The Voice TV show, as well as Anastasia Bedareva, a singer and vocal teacher who is a winner of the "New Song of the Year" award and an expert on the “All Together!” TV show.
In the category of "Soviet Pop Music Song," Marina Sorokoletova, a faculty member of the BelSU Department of Labour and Entrepreneurial Law and director of the Legal Clinic at the BelSU Law Institute, emerged victorious among 71 participants with her rendition of the popular song “Prayer” (music by A. Zhurbin, lyrics by I. Reznik). In total, 266 participants showcased their talents in the “Pop Vocals” category.
As Marina Sorokoletova reflected on her experience, she noted that participating in such a competition is both a celebration and a significant responsibility. She expressed her appreciation for the kindness of the jury members and the mutual support among contestants, which made her moments on stage at the welcoming “Officers’ Club” truly unforgettable.
