Favourable Climate

Anthony R. Lupo, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Missouri will give a series of lectures at the BelSU Department of Mining and Natural Resource Management.

Within several years Belgorod State University and University of Missouri developtheir links. It was mainly Prof. Lupo’s initiative in 2011 to develop the agreement on long-term partnership.

Thus Prof. Lupo’s visit and the lectures planned to be given by him are a consistent step forward for the cooperation between the two universities. The scientist is accompanied by his daughter, Mary Lupo. Mary is a student, and she will study at the Chair of the Russian Language and Cross-Cultural Communication within the framework of student exchange programme.

Prof. Lupo has already started the series of lectures on Basics of Planetary Circulation Theory, and for the academic year 2014-2015 he has prepared several other courses on Climatology. His lectures are attended by BelSU students and staff members eager to better their occupational and conversational English.
