BelSU and BSU: the new step in cooperation

A delegation from Belgorod National Research University headed by Rector, Professor Oleg Polukhin, visited Belarusian State University (Minsk) and agreed to expand bilateral cooperation.

The parties have summarized the results of the joint activities in the 2013/14 academic year, discussed current cooperation between the universities and set out the main areas of cooperation for 2015.

The universities are looking forward to grow cooperation in Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Engineering, namely in Material Science, Nanotechnology, Information and Communication Technologies, Geosciences and Environmental Safety, and Psychology and History studies.

Rector of Belgorod National Research University Oleg Polukhin and Rector of Belarusian State University Sergey Ablameyko discussed cooperation in jointly run educational programmes, youth policy, student self-governance, growing opportunities for academic exchange and student mobility. The faculties and research centres of the two universities will continue collaboration in joint research and educational projects, and in development of innovative science-intensive products.
