Foreign languages department of BelSU pedagogical institute finished a week-long French language workshop. Classes were conducted by Nadine Courcoux, assistant professor of Cergy Pontoise University.
As part of double-sided cooperationof Belgorod and French institutions, Nadine Courcoux read to students the lectures about actual problems of studying French.
While she was here, students of BelSU also had a unique opportunity to speak with the native speaker during the events and Belgorod sight-seeing tours.
During her visit, Nadine took part in panel of judges of traditional French phonetic contest among school students of the region. This annual contest is held by German and French departments of Pedagogical Institute.
Judges chose the winners in French song, poem and theatrical contests. School teachers, who trained the contestants, were awarded with diplomas and letters of acknowledgement. Many contestants would be BelSU students in the future.
Cooperation between BelSU and Cergy Pontoise University allows students to get double Russian-French degree and take part in summer language courses in Paris university.
