Belgorod – Bremen: fresh start

Delegation fr om BelSU headed by the principalvisited the University of Bremen (Germany), wh ere the treaty of interacademic cooperation was signed.

Year 2014 is a 15-years anniversary of the Belgorod and Bremen universities’ cooperation. During this timemanystudentsandteachers exchanges were made, andtheconjointconferences and research work were organized.

 The new stage of cooperation was marked by the visit of Belgorod delegation to Bremen. Principalsof the universities:prof. Oleg Polukhin and prof. Bernd Scholtz-Raiter emphasized on productivity of long-term interacademic professional engagement.

As a conclusion of the meeting, both sides signed a treaty of the continuation and expansion of cooperation between Russian and German universities.

 BelSU representatives discussed the perspective of cooperative scientific and academical activities with German colleagues. In particular, they made an arrangement about cooperation in the field of pedagogical education, humane and social studies, economics and international research projects, which includes students’ works.

 Reflecting on the visit, Oleg Polukhin pointed out: “Our nations have many things in common both in our history and mentality. When our relations get better, Russia and Germany win equally, and vice versa, deterioration of relations brings trouble to the both of us”.
