University holds a charity marathon

BelSU began a charity marathon «With a warm word and a kind deed».

 This is the annual event of BelSU and all departments and institutes take part in it.  According to the tradition, students, teachers, university staff and everyone who want to took part in marathon, grant wishes of orphans and disadvantaged children on New Year’s Eve.

 Oleg Polukhin, principal of BelSU greeted the participants and urged them not to be indifferent and not only help those who are in need, but think about an adoption

 “There are many outstanding, kind and charitable people. Last year we decided that this initiative will grow into an all-yearlong series of events. One can’t be kind for an hour or a week. You should share the warmth throughout the life”, - said Oleg Polukhin.

 Aleksandr Sklyarov, Deputy Speaker of Belgorod Regional Duma also pointed out that BelSU is not only an educational center of the region, but a ground for many charity events.

University representatives, businessmen, deputies and other guests got Christmas greeting-cards made by children. In the end of December all children will get their presents.
