At the research-to-practice conference scientists, social activists and politicians of Russian regions and Commonwealth of Independent States discussed problems of development management of cross-border regions.
The organizers of the conference were BelSU, The Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation (IFESCC) and Institute of Cross-border Integration and Cooperation amid the International Integration and Cross-border Cooperation School. The School has worked as part of BelSU since 2008. It is one of the largest forum in the post-Soviet space, which unites activists of Russia and CIS, who is interested in solving global geopolitical problems
More than one hundred representatives of Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian and Moldavia took part in the conference. The webinars were organized for those who couldn’t arrive at the event. Among them were representatives from France and Serbia. Besides speeches and panels, there were trainings and master-classes.
Aleksandr Mamatov, academic and automatization vice-president of BelSU noted in his speech to the guests, that it’s necessary to manage cross-border cooperation in any conditions. “We are responsible with our actions for the future situation in the country and in the whole world”, – he said.
