The coach of Russian national short track team met BelSU students

The meeting with Aleksandr Leonidov, the coach of Russian national short track and skating team and alumnus of year 2003 took place at Physical Education Department.

Aleksandr Leonidov is in charge of national team sportsmen’s physical training. He told students about special aspects of training for high-class sportsmen and was asked about training schedule, psychological preparation of sportsmen and their victual

Aleksandr said that day regimen and knowledge about ways to restore efficiency. Sportsmen have special physicians, which help them to compile training schedule right.

Students were interested in Aleksandr’s career path: how he became a high level coach. BelSU alumnus told about his trudge for coaching staff of Russian national skating team, and noted that even in the situation of fierce rivalry in short track, Russian national team has reasonably good perspectives.
