Fifth-year students of BelSU Mining and Natural Resource Management Department won the final round of National Fuel and Energy Cases Solving Championship in Moscow.

The championship was divided into three leagues, which included solving of different cases: mining, electric power engineering and geologic exploration. Last year BelSU team “Shmel” (Bumblebee) has already taken part in the championship, and this year it represented the university in “Mining” league. The students (Maxim Chekhlatiy, Aleksei Starostenko, Pavel Buslayev, Yulia Garanina) presented the best case solving (according to jury), based on their department’s innovations (the materials of Ermolovich E. The winners were awarded by Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Novak.
