Mission of the Right in a changing world

The contest was held as part of VI International Youth Law Forum by Saint Petersburg State University and national noncommercial organization “Association of Russian Lawyers”.

More than 300 future lawyers fr om various regions struggled for the victory. BelSU was represented by Institute of Law’s students Anastasia Lokteva and Ekaterina Pridatko.

In their essays the participants discoursed about the problems of modern law. Their work was appraised by representatives of Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Justice Ministry and Office of the Procurator General of the Russian Federation.

In her essay, Anastasia Lokteva touched on a important problem of neglecting the law. Ekaterina Pridatko discoursed on necessity of connecting law with morality. Their works were highly appraised. In the end, the winners were granted with the right to become participants of Youth Law Forum. 

“The highest point for us become a meeting with the Executive Head of Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev, wh ere the latest problems of law and education were discussed. Dmitriy Medvedev remembered his student years and advised young lawyers lead the charge and constantly advance”, – said the students.
