New high-tech projects of BelSU were presenter at young scientists’ innovative solutions exhibition as part of IV Mid-Russian Economic Forum in Kursk.
The Forum was organized with the support of Central Federal District Presidential’s Envoy’s Administrative Office, Economic Development Ministry, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation and Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
The BelSU’s display consisted of IT, instrumentation, robotic science and agricultural projects. Two of five solutions of BelSU Engineering and Physics Department’s Student Design-engineering Bureau were presented for the first time. The guests and participants had particular interest in a model of telepresence robot.
“Telepresence robot is a sum of technologies for remote interaction with people and objects. The robot is dedicated for medical institutions as medical assistant. Besides, it can be used at admission offices as an agitator” – said the head of BelSU Student Design-engineering Bureau Andrei Aleynikov.
The presentation of BelSU student, “U.M.N.I.K” Contest’s Winner Anna Stepanova is an example of a full cycle of project’s realization: from the birth of science-intensive idea to its introduction. The young scientist works at mespilus’ reproduction problems. Mespilus is a plant with valuable properties, adapted to local conditions. Guests and participants could have a look at the valuable plant and taste healthful mespilus jam.
