The start of a new enrollment campaign

The press conference, dedicated to enrollment campaign started on June, 19 took place at BelSU. The principal of the university, Prof. Oleg Polukhin, Doctor of Political Science told about innovations for this year’s applicants. He mentioned that last year was one of the most successful for the university. In 2014/2015 it improved its material and technical equipment, build new facilities, and increase the quantity of R&D projects.

“Only 5-6 higher education institutions in our country have such financial measures – more than billion rubles. It shows efficiency of our scientists for our business. It is surely characterize us as high level national research university”, – said the principal.

Among the special features of the new enrollment campaign Oleg Polukhin mentioned that for the first time the individual achievements of the applicant. He also said that the student quota for engineering, pedagogical and medical specialties.

“This year more than 7 000 students graduate from our university. Our goal is to gather as many. We hope that this year the best high school graduates from our region and all over Russia. I want to mention that young people from 85 territorial entities of RF and near two thousands of foreign students from 76 countries study in our university, It affirms the education quality of BelSU”, – said the principal at the press conference.
