International conference in Freiburg

Nine students, postgraduates and teachers of BelSU Mining and Natural Resource Management Department visited Freiburg (German) amid the international cooperation between BelSU and Freiburg International Academy. Young scientists read their reports in English on a Jubilee Conference of the Academy.

This jubilee coincided with the 250^th Anniversary of M. Lomonosov’s death. He studied mineralogy and metallurgy at the Academy. Because of that, all the bronze medals, received by the guests of the conference were ornated not only with the university’s symbols, but also with the portrait of the great Russian scientist.
