An engineering center has begun to work at BelSU

Ministry of Education and Science summarized the open contest for state support of creation and development of engineering centers in universities. 

The commission evaluated 54 applications. According to the results, the commission selected ten winners. Among them is Belgorod State National Research University with “Pharmaceutical and medical industry” project.

As the head of the Center of preclinical and clinical study Mikhail Pokrovskiy commented, that the first two years of the project will be financed by more than 100 million of rubles would be spent on organization and functioning of experimental industrial section.

“Our engineering center’s scope of activity is biopharmaceutical industry.  Even now our staff renders services in registration of pharmaceutical production, performs pre-clinical and clinical research, organize technological production of BAA, veterinary, pharmaceutical and cosmetic medical supplies”, – said Mikhail Pokrovskiy

According to his words, engineering center has already worked with all large Russian pharmaceutical enterprises. Half of of customers are western producers.

“At present time we arrange cooperation with a Hindu company which enters Russian market and will developed its business in Belgorod region”, ­– the head of the BelSU Center of preclinical and clinical study has also said.
