The third shift of the III BelSU International Summer Language School began to study at “Nezhegol” Recreation Center
The IIIrd BelSU International Summer Language School opened its doors for the third shift of participants. The shift has begun with the speech of Michael Binyon, observer of British newspaper “The Times”. He shared some interesting parts of his biography with the students and told about nuances of international journalist’s work. The students eagerly asked him about everything: from the differences between Russian and British mentality to the political situation of various countries.
Vice-rector for academic work and informational support Aleksandr Mamatov greeted all participants on behalf of BelSU rector’s office. He wished all the students to fully make use of all of the School’s resources: to raise its level of English and enjoy the company of friends.
“The third shift of the Language School is completely dedicated to English. For twelve days foreign teachers, – the native speakers, teachers from BelSU and volunteers – will work with the students. There will be not only classes, but also workshops, interesting meetings and many sports and cultural events”, – said director of International Language Summer School Anna Merezhko.
The previous shift was dedicated to German Language. The teachers from Robert Bosch Foundation (Germany): Peter Korell, Ellie Mak, Jonas Toine. It was the first German Language School. The students mentioned teachers’ candor, knowledge they have acquired from them, and growing interest to the German Language.
