Students and staff of BelSU have gathered near 75 000 rubles for critically ill children during the annual “The White Flower” charity event
According to promoters, the main goal of the event was a treatment of 12 children fr om Belgorod suffering fr om rare diseases, who need expensive medicines.
Students and staff of BelSU took part in “The White Flower” charity fair, wh ere they were selling their handmade crafts.
They’ve set up a creative program for workshops, wh ere they’ve taught children to sew Slavic lucky charms and paint handmade crafts with gouache paint. They’ve also gathered 74 658 rubles of voluntary donations.
“It is a good and kind tradition. I has been taking part in it for two years: I bring my handmade goods and sell it at the fair. I’m glad to help kids this way. It is a little droplet of kindness, but together we can make the life better”, – said master of Social-Theology Department Yulia Khodykina.
