Dcientists from BelSU took part in II multidisciplinary conference in Bulgaria
The II International Scientific Conference took place at the Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria. Representatives of many countries came to share results of their work. The Professor of BelSU Institute of Economy World Economy Subdepartment, head of international trade and new economic geography research lab Svetlana Rastvortseva made two reports. She told about the improvement of productive forces placement theory, new economic geography and agglomeration processes of Russia. Her reports were considered as one of the best.
“I liked the arrangement of the conference”, – said Professor Rastvortseva. – “Presentations of the reports took place simultaneously in three equipped lecture rooms, and poster presentations, which were changed according to the program of the conference, were placed at two halls. There was time for everything: to listen for colleagues and ask them questions, to watch stands and to exchange contact information and discuss the scientific work in relaxed atmosphere. Despite the tight schedule, – we worked even in Saturday and Sunday, – the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, because summer is a time for relaxation, new impressions and research ideas. I am very fortunate that this business trip became possible because of Presidential Grant, and my articles would be indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and some other foreign systems».
Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department, Olga Lebedeva, Dr.sc.oec and professor, acting head of Informatics and information technologies department Vladimir Lomakin, Candidate of technical science presented poster presentations. Their works were highly estimated by hosts of the conference and colleagues.
