Victory is our destination

The Russian Students Orienteering Championship took place in Ekaterinburg. Teams of the strongest sportsmen in Russia from more than 30 universities took part in it.

BelSU was presented by the team of Physical Education Department’s students: Ivan Kumchenko (Master of Sports), Sergei Pozdnyakov (MS), Dmitriy Leonov (MS), Mikhail Kuleshov and Andrey Gulyaev (MSC).

The competition was divided into three types: short (sprint), long (classic) and relay. “Our sportsmen achieved top results and became prizewinners in teo nominations. Ivan Kumchenko got the 2^nd place in sprint, and Mikhail Kuleshov became bronze medalist in classic section”, – said director of BelSU sports club Vladimir Rudenko.
