German professor gave a lecture at Institute of Engineering Technology and Natural Science

Prof. Roessner has visited the university because of academic cooperation between universities. The cooperation between them has already lasted for more than 10 years. The universities conduct co-operative research, the scientists make business trips to partner university, students and postgraduates from BelSU take internship at Oldenburg university. Prof. Roessner visits Belgorod State University every year, to tell Russian colleagues about Oldenburg University research programs.     

“Our friendship with Oldenburg University is an example of a long-term viable cooperation. For the past 11 years we have several conferences together, four DAAD grants for our postgraduates, collaborative publications and great plans for the future”, – said vice-director for international relations of  BelSU Institute of Engineering Technology and Natural Science Olga Lebedeva.  
During his lection, prof. Roessner told students about Oldenburg Universities’ research, especially about his work at heterogenous catalysis, created in his laboratory.

”Cooperation between BelSU and Oldenburg University bear its fruits, This tandem helps to increase capabilities. It is equally useful for Oldenburg and Belgorod universities ”, – said Professor about the cooperation.
