For the first time, the teacher from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will constantly work at BelSU
The teacher Sabine Korin has arrived at BelSU under the aegis of cooperation treaty between BelSU and German Academic Exchange Service. This partnership allows students from BelSU undergo internship and study in German, improving their knowledge. There is also opportunity for lectors from Germany to teach students from Belgorod.
Sabine Korin will work at BelSU for two years, but, according to the treaty with DAAD, its teachers can work at the university for five years.
“The main goal of my visit is to activate exchange between Russia and Germany. I think that such cooperation is very important for both countries. The world becomes more global, people from different countries have an opportunity to communicate more. This form of cooperation allows achieving a dialog between cultures, to make it more efficient. It is a valuable contribution to an idealistic idea of the world without war”, – said Sabine.
Sabine has been already teaching students of the Institute of Cross-cultural Communications and International Relations and Pedagogical Institute Foreign Languages Department. She doesn’t only give lectures and seminars, but also consults students from other departments about DAAD internship and grant programs. Besides that, she plans to start advanced courses for teachers from Belgorod schools.
