The Principal’s reception

Former teachers and employees, who had dedicated most of their lives to the university, were invited to the celebration. The Principal of BelSU Prof. Oleg Polukhin greeted everyone and noted that university is among the best ones according to the results of federal and international monitorings, achieving great success every year. But, according to Principal, it became possible not only because of the university’s current staff, but also because of long-service employees, who created the conditions for it.

“You’ve laid such strong foundation, that we can build a sanctuary of science of any height”, – he said.

Pyotr Konyaev, the chairman of BelSU’s Labor Veterans Council said that the Council does everything for the support of war and labor veterans.

The chairman of BelSU Trade Union Committee Yuri Pitinov noted, that long-service teachers of BelSU are an example of chivalrous serving for younger colleagues..

”You are all teachers. And, despite tha fact that many of you don’t teach anymore, we are always among us, enlightenment is your mission”, – he said.

At the celebration, The Principal had also awarded the veterans, who had achieved great results with honorary certificates.
