A premiere of director from Berlin Markus Georg’s movie took place at BelSU
In May of 2015 German director Markus Georg has come to Belgorod for a week to film a short stop-motion movie. A group of students from BelSU have helped him in a process.
In his movie, the director depicted local customs and traditions in a humorous urban fantasy genre. The plot is a journey through Belgorod, but main parts were played not only by students and director himself, but also by cartoon characters like a talking dandelion.
The bonus video message became one more surprise for the audience. Markus told about the secrets of successful shooting and work on the movie. He also shared his impressions about Belgorod and enthusiasm of BelSU’s students.
At the concert hall of BelSU, the lecturer of Robert Bosch Foundation Peter Korel and students from Markus Georg’s film crew have also told about their experience and work on the movie. The students told an audience about filming process and new knowledge about film making.
The next step for Markus and his film crew is a presentation at Festival of Short Films in Berlin.
