New steps to make with China

In Dezhou University, BelSU’s Principal Prof. Oleg Polukhin met The President of Dezhou University Feng Jian, vice-rectors, heads of departments and directors of Pedagogical and Foreign Language Institutes.

In his speech, Feng Jiang mentioned that BelSU is a leading partner and friend of the university. “Our relationship has been growing since 2003 and, together, we have achieved significant success in science and academic exchange. We hope for further cooperation development”, – he said.

Oleg Polukhin also spoke about important achievements in educational and scientific cooperation, top-priority goals of its development, especially significance of alternative energy research. Among these goals he has also mentioned an improvement of foreign languages’ studies and adding of Chinese into language courses of BelSU.

At the end of the meeting, both sides signed cooperation treaties for realization of international academic projects in “World economy and trade” and “Russian Language” specialties. .

During the visit, The Principal Oleg Polukhin and head of BelSU International Department Mikhail Trubitsyn have also met students from Dezhou University. Chinese students asked about education fees in Russia, conditions of education and boarding, internships, etc.
