State Duma Deputy Elena Senatorova answered the questions of BelSU students

The meeting was organized by Head of Social-Theology Department Regional Social Work Research Subdepartment Inna Kischenko.

Provost for Culture and Education Svetlana Ostrikova has introduced Elena Senatorova to the audience and told about interesting facts of her biography such as her journalistic activities and Komsomol past.

Elena Senatorova told students about key measures of Russian social politics concerning mothers and children support, about lawmaking, her work at profile committee of State Duma and discussed current problems of social protection of family, maternity and childhood in modern society.

Teachers and students was very interested and asked many questions for mutual discussion, including ones about anti-corruption laws, young specialists’ employment issues and difficulties of social sphere reforming.

The Deputy noticed the high level of students’ professonal training, their competence and personal involvement in future profession.

At the end, Elena Senatorova presented the Subdepartment with a collection of regulatory legal acts and documents on maternity and childhood protection – “State Family Policy in Russian Federation”.
