The Principal of BelSU Prof. Oleg Polukhin met the Head of historical anthropology research lab of BelSU Historical and Philological Department, correspondent member of RAS, director of Etnographic Bureau Prof. Andrei Golovnyov.
They’ve discussed plans and perspectives of historical anthropology research lab which was created at BelSU in 2013. The integration of specialists’ (historians, philologists and anthropologists) various research activities in field of humane scientific knowledge became the leading course of lab’s development.
Professor Andrei Golovnyov will give few lections for students and teachers of BelSU. He will also take part in “Regional Historic and Cultural Heritage” International Students School.
NB: Andrei Vladimirovich Golovnyov (1958). Specialist in ethnology, visual anthropology, North Eurasian history, organization of scientific activities. Author of 5 monographs, 200 articles, the editor of “Uralskiy istoricheskiy vestnik” magazine. Author of 10 anthropological documentaries, awarded with prizes of national and international movie festivals.
President of Russian Anthropological Film Festival, Northern Nomadic Film Festival etc. Author of “Svyaz Vremyon” (The Link of Times) exposition at Nature and Human Museum (Khanty-Mansiysk). Head of ethnological and cross-disciplinary projects of RAS Ural Institute of History and Archeology. Lector of Russian and foreign Universities (USA, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Finland).
