A press conference dedicated to “The world of equal possibilities” social project took place in Belgorod
The festival would have seven themed athletic and creative stages.
“Every stage would be interesting and versatile. It is not just the competition complex, – there are contests, events and new knowledge about nature and history of the native region”, – said the head of Belgorod Region Sports and Physical Culture Department Oleg Serdyukov.
BelSU would become a social partner of the festival and support its organization. The vice rector for culture and education of BelSU Svetlana Ostrikova told that this is a great honor and responsibility for the university to participate in such important event.
”BelSU supports all charity, physical education and healthy lifestyle events. We gather our teachers, students and volunteers. This festival is an example of moral courage, optimism, overcoming and ability to find oneself in life”, – she said.
More than 20 teams will took part in the project. Every team would consist of two able-bodied participants (coach and volunteer) and three disabled participants of various ages (from 14 y. o.). All events are organized also for people with hearing, seeing and moving disabilities.
The opening ceremony will begin at 20th of February, 11:00AM at Svetlana Khorkina Sports Centre. The closing ceremony would be held at BelSU Youth Cultural Centre at The 3rd of December.
